French Trip

The children in Forms 5 and 6 were finally able to enjoy their long-awaited day trip to France. Their first stop was the Musée 39-45 in Ambleteuse, where they reflected on WWII. After lunch and building a few sandcastles on the beach, the group explored the fortified town in Boulogne and the children put their French skills to good use in the 'boulangerie', souvenir shops and a meal in a café. It was a fantastic day, and we are so proud of the children for demonstrating every single one of their Hilden Oaks values; they received many compliments on their lovely behaviour.
