Leadership

Senior Leadership Team

Our Headteacher, Mrs Wade, works closely with the Senior Leadership Team. Together, they run the school to ensure every child from Nursery right through to Form 6 gets the most out of each day that they possibly can. All decisions about how the curriculum is designed and taught, are discussed and agreed by the Senior Leadership Team before being disseminated to the rest of the teaching and non-teaching staff.

Board of Trustees

The Hilden Oaks School Educational Trust Ltd was formed in 1965. Our charitable status means that when the school generates a surplus of income over expenditure, that entire surplus is re-invested in the School to improve its facilities and teaching. The Board of Trustees works closely with the Headmistress and is responsible for determining the overall aims, ethos and conduct of the School.

The trustees do not benefit financially from their role in School and are appointed because they have an expertise that they are willing to volunteer and put at the disposal of the School. Our trustees share a sympathy for, and wholehearted commitment to the School and its values. At present, the School has ten trustees, including the Chair, Mr Derick Walker.

Trustees of Hilden Oaks School include past and present parents and active community members from in and around Tonbridge. We are grateful for their continuous support and help in making Hilden Oaks a better place for our children to learn and grow.

Could you become a trustee?

The Chair of Trustees can be contacted through the School Office, or by emailing the Clerk to the Trustees: trust.clerk@hildenoaks.co.uk
