'Dressed to Express'

Today the children all came into school wearing clothes to express themselves, to raise money for the children's mental health charity Place2Be. The children in Nursery wore clothes that make them happy.

It was also Creative Curriculum Time, so throughout the day, everyone was involved in PSHCEE activities, which focused on mental health and wellbeing as well as activities related to ‘harmony’ including: expressing harmony thorough poetry; harmony in maths; working in harmony to put puzzle pieces together, and musical harmony etc. The pre-school children enjoyed happy dancing, stories about being kind and drawing pictures of things that made them happy.

Everyone had a wonderful day of learning through this extended curriculum and we raised raised £176.50 for Place2Be.
