Zoo Lab visit Transition and Reception
Zoo Lab came to visit Transition and Reception this week. The children showed courage and confidence by waving to, touching or even holding our animal visitors.
First, they met Shrek the land snail, who had 10,000 teeth on his tongue, followed by Pedro the Australian tree frog. He had fragile skin, so they could not touch him because he breathes through skin. Next came Steve the Madagascan Hissing Cockroach who was a bit like a superhero with super sticky power. They also saw Link a giant African millipede who had her bones on the outside. They sang Incy Wincy Spider to Penny the tarantula. Finally, they met Arwen the rat who is very clever and can solve puzzles to find her food. She knows how to spin, she can fetch and will be learning to complete an obstacle course!
