Wimbledon

On Wednesday, eight of our pupils went to the All-England Club at Wimbledon to watch the tennis. Despite rain interruptions they saw some great matches and were thrilled to meet former Wimbledon Champion, now coach, Lleyton Hewitt, who was ranked Number 1 in the world and won two grand slam titles.

They also visited the play zone for a hitting challenge and a ball boy/girl challenge, and later looked around the iconic Wimbledon museum, where they saw the men's and women's trophies close-up.

What a fantastic experience for our young budding tennis stars.
