"On Friday, Form 6 took a trip to the Science Museum. We arrived by train, watching the famous sights of London brush past us, then underground. We were greeted by the intricate buildings of South Kensington and made our way to our prize learning goal: 'Top Secret: from Ciphers to Cyber Security' exhibition. We saw incredible machines, such as the BOMBE [plus a lot more] that assisted the allies win the war. With a taste of computer science, we scaled 5 floors to see the reconstruction of the Difference Engine No 2 and learn more about computer history. We had a brilliant day, and thank all the teachers who helped!"

What a fantastic opportunity for the children to combine history and computer science. Form 6 received several lovely compliments about their behaviour throughout the day, from members of the public.
