The Hilden Oaks Coleoptera Collection
Form 4 capped off this term's English unit, based on M.G.Leonard's 'Beetle Boy', with a wonderful museum exhibition. The 'Hilden Oaks Coleoptera Collection' opened for a limited time last Friday to specially invited guests The fabulous museum guides showed Form 3, Mrs Joiner and the Form 4 parents some amazing explanation writing, detailed drawings and designs, beetle model making and much more. Beetle inspired clothing, jewellery, hairclips, Top Trumps, fact files and pyrography were also on display. The guests left wonderful reviews in the museum visitors' book and a good time was had by all. Well done Form 4, for working so hard and for holding such an enjoyable event.
