Shaping Imagination

The children in Preschool have been continuing with their shapes topic and have listened to Mr Gumpy’s Motor Car by John Burningham. This sparked the children's imagination to recreate their very own car, using crates, tyres, wooden blocks, planks, guttering and hoops. They made a list, suggesting wheels, crates and even torches for the lights. The children were amazing at telling their teachers what they were using, and if they were 2D or 3D shapes.
