Safety Day

Last Friday, the whole school enjoyed a wonderfully informative day off-timetable for Creative Curriculum Time (CCT), to explore all aspects of safety. From water safety with the RNLI to practising good road safety; basic first aid through to food safety; understanding what is meant by consent, and learning how to stay safe when out and about. Some of the groups also had a visit from Fergal for a session on dog safety. All in all it was an excellent day, which provoked the children to think about staying safe at all times.
