Safety Day

Today, the children have been learning about all aspects of safety. We welcomed Vernon from Kent Fire and Rescue, to talk about fire safety at home, so be prepared to check your smoke alarms later! The children also covered such topics as first aid, 'how to make an emergency call', road safety, consent and 'what happens if I tell'; a session run by Mrs Joiner and Mrs Wade to help the children understand what may happen after they share their safety worries.

There have been some very interesting and informative discussions and the children have learnt some invaluable life skills.
