Outdoor Learning Resource

The Transition team, staff and children, have designed a wonderful outside classroom. Thanks to our Premises Manager, Mr Crowley's excellent construction skills, the area that was once a tricycle park has been transformed into an all year round outdoor learning resource. This exciting new learning space will enable the children to develop their skills in all areas of the Early Years Curriculum including maths and literacy in the specially designed investigation stations and story area, personal, social and emotional development through imaginative play, understanding of the world in the gardening area and water play - the opportunities are endless. Mr Crowley presided over the grand opening of the outside classroom on Thursday and there was much excitement as he cut the ribbon and the children were given their first taste of their new space.
