Twenty children in Forms 3 and 4 took part in a concert on Wednesday evening at St Saviour’s Church. The concert opened with the Hilden Oaks Training Orchestra making their inaugural appearance complete with tuned percussion, descant recorders, clarinet, jSax and oboe. This was followed by thirteen solo items performed on a range of instruments including French horn, guitar, violin and piano. The choir performed with glockenspiel accompaniment and the concert ended with a two-part song, sung by all the performers. The children thoroughly enjoyed taking part in the performance, and the concert was very warmly received by the audience.
Congratulations to everyone involved.
