Meet the Author at the Old Fire Station

On Wednesday, Form 3 and Form 4 walked to the Old Fire Station in Tonbridge, to hear the author, Amanda Prowse and illustrator, Paul Ward Smith, read their book, "The Smile that went a Mile". The children were inspired, by what they heard, to write their own stories about a smile. Amanda said that she had never met a group of children with such amazing ideas for story writing. The event was courtesy of Richard Collins, who owns the Escape Art Centre at the Old Fire Station.
