Mayor's Debate

On Thursday, four of our Form 6 pupils, including the Head Boy and Head Girl, took part in the annual Mayor's Debate, held in the Tonbridge & Malling Borough Council Chamber at Kings Hill. Hilden Oaks was one of five local schools to participate in the debate, and the topics discussed ranged from, 'Should we be concerned about the amount of sugar in food?' through to 'Should all primary and secondary schools wear uniform?'. On the question of  'Are school dinners healthy and good value', Lisa, our Catering Manager was pleased to hear that it was a resounding 'yes' from the Hilden Oaks contingent!
