Maths Measuring

In maths this week, the Reception children have looked at measurement through length and height. After reading the story of Titch, the children worked together to find a way to measure the height of the characters. They used their knowledge of ten to make ten sticks so that they could measure the height quickly and not have to count all the bricks individually. The children then went onto measuring the length of crocodiles and caterpillars using linking bricks.
