London Art

Form 6 went on a rainy art adventure last Friday when they visited Buckingham Palace and the National Gallery.  They took the train to London, had a short tour of some of the State Rooms at Buckingham Palace as they walked through to the gardens, and then took part in a landscape drawing workshop (Hilden Oaks was one of only six schools to have the opportunity to do the drawing workshop at the palace this year). Later that day, they also visited the National Gallery and were able to see the original works of some of the artists they will be studying in lessons this term.  The weather was decidedly wet but the children coped very well with a lot of walking.  Super resilience!
