Himalayan Tiger

Form 1 enjoyed an action-packed visit to The Himalayan Gardens at Riverhill. earlier this week. Their visit complemented their work in English on 'The Tiger Who Came to Tea'. The children learnt more about Himalayan tigers and every child made their own "Hobby-Tiger" to take home. They also applied the facts they had learnt about tigers and were able to share these with their hosts. A tiger-themed scavenger hunt in the stunning grounds encouraged the children to discuss the changing season as part of their science topic.
