Summer Holidays 2022

We hope you had a really good summer holiday, stayed safe and had fun. We have been busy around the school and had lots of adventures…

Wear sunscreen & a hat!

Also get an ice cream and maybe some nuts!

Did some one say “ice lollies”

Om nom nom nom…

We are working hard…

Getting everything ready for September!

Skateboarding in Trafalgar Square

It was raining and humans don’t seem to like rain, so we went skateboarding in Trafalgar Square, in the rain!

Squirrel Art!

We had a portrait painted of us on our skateboards by are friend Dalle!

Back to work…

Need to reconfigure the switches for the new WAN connections…

We’ve got decorating to do…

As well as doing the computer systems we are helping paint things and helping eat nuts!

Cycling with walnuts

We decided to go cycling at the weekend. We took some walnuts as snacks!

Cabling is never done…

Going back over the cabling that we hurriedly installed after the building work finished; labelling, tidying, and colour-coding. This would be easier if we had opposable thumbs. It would help with holding acorns and nuts, as well as making RJ45 network plugs!

It’s very hot today…

Just been for a cooling swim before getting back to sorting out stuff at school…

A network engineer squirrel’s work is never done!

Just back to configuring VLANs and networking routing tables for our new WAN connection that is arriving next week.

Quick carrot snack

Carrots are good for you, we looked them up on the internet… but we really like acorns!

“Although most of us associate carrots with their bright orange colour, carrots were originally yellow and purple. The most commonly eaten part of the plant is the root, although the stem and leaves are also edible and used in some parts of the world as a herb or salad leaf.

In the Western diet, carrots are an important source of dietary carotenes and make a valuable contribution to our vitamin A requirements.”

Almost there, just a few things left to do!

CAT6 cables connected, new 10Gb OM4 fibres installed and link between Salmon and Forster configured. Now need to create accounts, create this years Teams groups, configure Foldr access for everyone, and then eat some nuts…

No squirrels were harmed producing these pictures but a lot of nuts and ice cream was eaten!
