Christian Symbolism

Form 3 enjoyed a trip to our local church, St Saviour's, to deepen their learning about symbolism within the Christian religion. Pupils were very excited to explore behind the scenes, discover symbols and learn about parts of the church such as the font, the pulpit and the communion area.

We are grateful to Alyson Bleakley, Senior Minister for Families, for giving the children an informative introduction and for deepening their understanding behind some familiar symbolism.
