Anyone for a Bug Pancake?

As part of their English work, reading and responding to the book 'The Explorer', Form 4 tried out an unusual recipe. In the novel, the four characters become stranded in the jungle and have to eat a 'bug pancake'. Form 4 made bug pancakes of their own but this time using crickets! They had lots of fun making and tasting the pancakes and Mrs Kimber was very impressed by how many children decided to have a nibble. The verdict - quite tasty but not as good as normal pancakes!
