Animal Habitats in the Antarctic

The children in Preschool have been thinking about habitats for different animals. It has led them to start investigating the Antarctic. They had great fun cooking, fishing, exploring and writing inside their igloo.

They later created iceberg castles and opened a penguin cafe where they made squid, fish and krill for them to eat. The invitations were sent, the menus and labels were made and the doors opened to a waddling audience who sang penguin songs. The children have many more questions about the life of a penguin and other animals to be answered.
