Anglo-Saxons

Form 4 have been on an exciting trip to Kent Life to learn more about the Anglo-Saxons and their way of life. The children met Alfred the Great, cleaned and spun some wool, played 'Nine Men's Morris', learnt about Anglo-Saxon villages, and also acted out Beowulf. It was a fun and educational day enjoyed by everyone and the children were a credit to Hilden Oaks. Well done Form 4!
